education reform in America!

NOTE: I am not going to give commentary or review of these books. With the exception of ONE Book, I am not going to list the date and time I read these books because I do not know the exact order that I came across them or when I read them all.  Anyway, knowing these things are not important.

What is important is that I give respect to these authors, their efforts, their pain, their cries, their hope and dreams, and above all, the love they have for God, family, and country.

While my parents were busy raising me, a generation of activist were fighting for my future. While I was busy raising my children, a generation of leaders started accepting a life that based on what I know now, I have never settled for; and its what they accepted on my behalf that placed me and my children on this horrible road. When it came time for me to be a parent, I was messed up in the head and repeated the steps of those before me. Without telling me what to do, my father who lives on in me raised me to be better,  demand better and keep watch.

I believe so few people were around to fight for my children’s future when it was time for me to fight for my children’s future because there were fewer people like my father in his generation. I have lived to see a grandchild and a great grandchild. I am afraid for these generations because I understand these reforms were not meant for me, my children, or my grandchildren. These reforms are meant for the world that my great grandchild will live in. I can either settle in my life of retirement and enjoy my remanding day above ground boasting above a half way decent life in a prosperous time, or I can put fire under the passion in me and take a stand and fight this intent of this system until my body is placed on the other side of dirt. That is why I decided to create this site. Put it all in one place so that you can find the answer. This is what my generation calls paying it forward. I am using social networking and technology to find you so that you can join this battle and get better prepared to fight for the next generation.

These are books everyone should read if they are advocates looking to create a better future for babies born since 2010. As I come across other materials and am able to find links for books I’ve read that are not listed, here today, I will add them to the list. In the meantime, I appreciate you for being here – May God Bless you and keep you as you accept this life.
